The Mathura-Vrindavan Development Authority (MVDA), Mathura, invited a tender for Work No. 02 – construction of a 30-metre-wide Master Plan Road in the Chhata area of Mathura district. The project forms part of planned road infrastructure development under the Master Plan.
The project aims to establish a wider and better-connected road corridor to support the area’s growing transportation requirements and planned urban development. The scope includes construction of the roadway, pavement development, drainage arrangements, road safety provisions and other allied civil works required for the development of the 30-metre-wide road.
According to the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 24 June 2026 by the Mathura-Vrindavan Development Authority. Following evaluation of the bids submitted by participating contractors, Sharma Construction Project Pvt. Ltd. emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 496,067,850.1. Once completed, the new Master Plan road is expected to improve connectivity in the Chhata area, facilitate smoother traffic movement and support the region’s future urban and infrastructure development.
