The Meerut Municipal Corporation, Uttar Pradesh, invited a tender for the construction of a precast RCC deep drain along Delhi Road in Meerut. The project is aimed at strengthening the city’s drainage infrastructure and improving the management of stormwater and surface runoff in the area.
The scope of work includes construction and installation of precast reinforced cement concrete (RCC) deep drains, along with associated civil works required for proper drainage connectivity and efficient water flow. The project is expected to help reduce waterlogging, improve drainage capacity and strengthen the overall civic infrastructure along Delhi Road.
According to the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 22 June 2026 by Meerut Municipal Corporation. Following evaluation of the bids submitted by participating contractors, Jeet Construction emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 250,224,562.1. Once completed, the precast RCC deep drain is expected to improve stormwater management and provide a more efficient drainage system for the surrounding areas of Meerut.
