The Public Works Department (PWD), Uttar Pradesh, through the Chief Engineer PWD Faizabad Zone, Faizabad Ambedkar Nagar Circle and Construction Division-4 Ayodhya, invited a tender for the widening and strengthening of the Bhelsar–Rudauli–Inhauna Road (ODR), along with five years of maintenance work.
The project aims to improve the condition, capacity and riding quality of the existing road corridor. The scope includes widening and strengthening of the roadway, pavement improvement, drainage and allied civil works, road safety measures, and subsequent maintenance to ensure the long-term performance of the road.
According to the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 15 June 2026 by the PWD authorities. Following evaluation of the bids submitted by participating contractors, Raj Construction emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 337,991,445. The inclusion of five years of maintenance is expected to help maintain the road’s condition after construction and provide safer and smoother connectivity for commuters in the region.
