The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), in collaboration with P4 Delhi, RO Jaipur, has issued a tender for Performance-Based Maintenance Contract (PBMC) work on a key section of National Highway 325 (NH-325). This contract focuses on improving and maintaining specific stretches of the Balotra to Sanderao via Jalore corridor in the state of Rajasthan.
The tender scope includes maintenance of the 2-lane with paved shoulders (2L PS) section from Km 16.20 to Km 91.60 and Km 118.90 to Km 156.955, while deliberately excluding specific intervals such as Km 21.70 to 24.35, Km 42.70 to 50.60, Km 59.46 to 62.90, Km 73.12 to 75.92, Km 82.65 to 85.30, and Km 151.10 to 154.73. The purpose of this PBMC is to ensure continuous upkeep of the critical highway sections and enhance road safety.
The financial bid for this project was officially opened on 5th February 2025, under the supervision of MoRTH and its Jaipur regional office. Among the bidders, Tansingh Chouhan was identified as the lowest quoted bidder for the project.
The estimated project value stands at approximately INR 45.51 crore(455100600.2), and the work will be carried out under strict performance guidelines to ensure long-term road sustainability.
