M/S Mahendra Singh Khedla Got A Project:WIDENING AND STRENGTHENING CHIRAWA

The Public Works Department (PWD) – CE AND AS, in coordination with ACE Jaipur I, SE Neemkathana, and EE Khetri, has issued a tender for a major regional road project. This initiative focuses on the widening and strengthening of a crucial road stretch from Chirawa (SH-08) to the Haryana border, passing through Udampura, Bas Kalyana, Kakoda, Jaisinghwas, Berla, and Baloda along MDR-317.
The road holds strategic importance, offering interstate connectivity between Rajasthan and Haryana. Upgrading this corridor is expected to reduce travel time, improve logistics, and enhance safety for daily commuters and freight carriers alike.
The financial bid was opened on 17th June 2025, attracting interest from multiple contractors. The tender was officially floated by PWD’s Jaipur I division and associated regional offices, reflecting the state’s focus on rural and border infrastructure development.
Following competitive bidding, M/S Mahendra Singh Khedla quoted the lowest bid for the project. The total cost of the proposed road works is ₹22,74,87,465, reflecting both scale and technical complexity of the assignment.
This project aligns with Rajasthan’s ongoing infrastructure enhancement efforts, particularly in improving multi-district and interstate road links for smoother transportation and regional growth.
