M/s Barkat Ali Bahadur Khan Got A Project:Widening and strengthening work on Pali

The Public Works Department (PWD) – CE AND AS, through its regional offices ACE – Jodhpur, SE – Barmer, and EE – Balotra, has invited a crucial infrastructure tender aimed at enhancing rural road connectivity in Rajasthan. The project involves widening and strengthening works on the Pali–Jetpura–Gelawas–Barwa–Mazal–Karmawas Road between km 49/0 to 68/0.
This stretch of road is a vital link connecting several remote villages and semi-urban settlements. Its current condition requires substantial upgradation to improve travel safety, reduce vehicle wear, and ensure year-round accessibility. The proposed project is expected to benefit not only daily commuters but also local agricultural and small-scale trade activities.
The financial bid for this tender was officially opened on 17th June 2025. It attracted competitive participation from several reputed contractors. After thorough evaluation, the lowest bid was submitted by M/s Barkat Ali Bahadur Khan, signifying their technical competence and cost efficiency.
The total estimated value of the project stands at ₹15,30,40,002. Once executed, the project will significantly boost infrastructure resilience and economic activity in the Barmer district, while aligning with the state’s commitment to rural development.
This project underscores the government’s proactive stance in bridging rural-urban divides through better road infrastructure and smoother intra-district connectivity.
