The Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation (MSIDC) has invited a Request for Proposal (RFP) under EPC 13A for a major infrastructure project aimed at improving key road networks in Satara district. The project focuses on upgrading two important routes that play a significant role in regional connectivity and rural mobility.
The scope includes improvements to the Satara–Gajavadi–Thoseghar–Chalkewadi M.D.R. 29, covering a stretch from Km 0.000 to Km 23.000, and further extending from MDR 29 to Jambhe–Boposhi–Karanjoshi–Avarde to MDR 83, also known as M.D.R. 134, covering Km 0.000 to Km 9.600. Both routes fall under Taluka and District Satara, and are crucial for tourism, agriculture, and daily transport.
The financial bid for this tender was opened on 5th May 2025, with several qualified firms participating, indicating strong interest in Maharashtra’s growing road infrastructure sector.
After evaluation, Raju Anil Bhosale was identified as the lowest bidder, placing him in line to undertake the execution of the project. The project value is estimated at a significant ₹207,26,43,105, representing a major state investment to improve road quality and connectivity.
This project stands as a key milestone in Maharashtra’s efforts to enhance rural infrastructure and ensure smoother, safer travel across its hilly and plateau regions.
