The Public Works Department (PWD) – CE and AS, under the Kota Zone through ACE Kota, SE Kota, and EE Ramganj Mandi, has invited a tender for a crucial infrastructure project in Rajasthan. The proposed work involves the construction of a Road Over Bridge (RoB) at Level Crossing No. 3-A/2-E on the Ramganj Mandi–Jhalawar Railway line, located on Suket–Pipaliya Road (MDR-109) at Km 8/0.
This infrastructure project aims to eliminate the delays and safety risks posed by the existing railway level crossing. Once completed, the RoB will facilitate smooth and uninterrupted flow of vehicular traffic, reducing waiting time at the crossing and enhancing safety for both rail and road users. It is expected to significantly improve connectivity between Ramganj Mandi and nearby regions, fostering economic and social development.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 19th May 2025, with several infrastructure companies submitting their proposals. This competitive process reflects the project’s importance in improving transportation efficiency and commuter convenience.
After thorough evaluation, Rajiv Mishra Contractor was declared the lowest bidder, qualifying for the contract. The total estimated value of the project is ₹35,79,70,000, highlighting a major public investment to strengthen Rajasthan’s road and bridge network.
