Pavai Infra Geotech. Got A Project:TREATMENT OF 01 NOS LAND SLIDE ZONE KM 475.360 TOKM 475.625

The Directorate General Border Roads Organisation (BRO), through HQ (CE) P Shivalik, Rishikesh, invited a tender for a critical slope-stabilisation project in Uttarakhand. The work involves the treatment of one major landslide zone between Km 475.360 to Km 475.625 on the Joshimath–Mana stretch of National Highway-07. This location is highly sensitive due to continuous geological instability and its proximity to strategic border routes.
The project is being undertaken under the NH(O) Annual Plan 2024–25 and follows the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) mode. The objective is to ensure long-term stability, prevent road blockage, and maintain uninterrupted movement of civilians, tourists, and defence forces. The treatment of this single landslide location demands specialised geotechnical solutions suited for high-altitude terrains.
The financial bids were opened on 29 August 2025 by BRO authorities. Among the competing firms, Pavai Infra Geotech emerged as the lowest bidder, qualifying for the award based on competitive pricing and technical suitability as per departmental procurement norms.
The total project value has been recorded at Rs. 8,96,70,937, marking it as a vital investment for ensuring road safety and strategic connectivity. Once executed, the project will significantly reduce landslide risks on this crucial segment of NH-07.
