The Directorate General Border Roads Organisation (BRO), through HQ (CE) P Shivalik, Rishikesh, has invited a tender for critical landslide treatment works on the Joshimath–Mana stretch of National Highway-07 in Uttarakhand. This project is part of the NH(O) Annual Plan 2024–25, aiming to ensure road safety and uninterrupted connectivity in a highly sensitive and strategic region.
The scope of work involves the treatment of one major landslide zone located between Km 475.360 and Km 475.625 on the Joshimath–Mana corridor. This stretch is prone to frequent landslides, posing challenges for local communities, pilgrims, and defense movements, making timely mitigation measures essential.
The project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode, ensuring efficient design, planning, and implementation. By stabilizing this vulnerable location, the work will safeguard road users, reduce disruptions, and support smooth movement along NH-07, which serves as a lifeline for both civilian and defense connectivity in the Himalayan region.
The financial bid was opened on 29th August 2025, with the minimum quoted value submitted by Pavai Infra Geotech. The project is valued at ₹8,96,70,937, highlighting the importance of this targeted intervention for sustainable infrastructure in challenging terrains.
