Nema Ram Barala Got A Project: Widening and Strengthening on Kuchera (SH – 87) to Kanuta – (NH-58)

PWD – CE and AS, together with ACE Jaipur II, SE Rural Jaipur, and EE Shahpura, has invited a tender for the Widening and Strengthening of the road from Kuchera (SH-87) to Kanuta (NH-58). The corridor passes through several key villages including Roopthal, Bodawa, Chhawata, Bugarda, Manjhara, Ratanga, Soneli, Chhapara, Tanwara, Ramsar, Gugariyali, and Gudarohili, covering km 18/0 to km 50/0 of MDR-387. This regionally significant route supports rural mobility, agricultural activities, and inter-district travel, making the upgrade crucial for improving transportation efficiency.
The project includes widening narrow sections, strengthening pavement layers, improving the riding surface, and enhancing road shoulders to withstand growing traffic loads. Drainage improvements, curve corrections, and safety upgrades are also part of the scope, ensuring better all-weather connectivity. On completion, the corridor will provide smoother transit between SH-87, SH-19, and NH-58 while improving access to multiple rural settlements.
The financial bid opening is scheduled for 29th September 2025, conducted under the supervision of PWD – CE and AS. Multiple contractors participated in the bidding process, reflecting the project’s importance in enhancing regional road conditions and streamlining connectivity across the Jaipur–Nagaur belt.
Among all bidders, Nema Ram Barala emerged as the lowest quoted bidder, securing the minimum financial offer for the tender. The total project value stands at ₹32,39,81,953.2, marking a significant investment aimed at improving long-term road quality and rural–highway connectivity in the region.
