The Chief Engineer, PWD Central Zone, Lucknow, in coordination with the Superintending Engineer, UPPWD Unnao, and Construction Division-1, Hardoi, issued a tender for the widening and strengthening of the Bilgram–Sandi–Allaganj Road (SH-138). The project extends from Km 26 to Paliya Bedijor, continuing along the Farrukhabad via Kadhar Road (MDR-108C), covering chainage 5.350 km to 19.600 km, with a total effective length of 12.560 km (excluding bridge sections).
The purpose of this project is to enhance regional connectivity and ensure safer, more durable infrastructure across key routes in Hardoi district. Once completed, this stretch will significantly ease vehicular movement, support rural trade, and reduce travel time for daily commuters and freight transporters alike.
The financial bid for this tender was opened on 24th March 2025, under the supervision of concerned PWD authorities. Multiple infrastructure firms participated in the process, showcasing strong interest in this strategic roadway upgrade.
MAA Aadi Shakti Infrabuild India Pvt. Ltd. quoted the lowest bid and is poised to execute the project. The approximate value of the development is ₹32.40 crore (₹324,044,776), which includes five years of maintenance after completion.
