The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai through its Roads and Traffic Department MCGM and the Deputy Chief Engineer Roads Eastern Suburbs MCGM invited a tender for the Mulund East DP Road Construction Project. The project involves the construction of a proposed 18.30-metre-wide Development Plan (D.P.) Road connecting MHADA Colony, Mulund (East), and Hari Om Nagar in T Ward, Eastern Suburbs, Mumbai.
The scope of work includes construction of the new road corridor, pavement development, drainage systems, footpaths, utility works, traffic safety infrastructure, and other allied civil works. The project is aimed at improving connectivity between residential areas, easing traffic congestion, and enhancing transportation infrastructure in Mumbai’s eastern suburbs.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 29 May 2026 by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. After evaluation of bids submitted by participating contractors, M J Infra emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 159,371,742, reflecting a significant investment in urban road infrastructure. Upon completion, the new D.P. Road will improve local connectivity, facilitate smoother traffic movement, and support the planned development of the Mulund East and Hari Om Nagar areas.
