M/s Tirupati Enterprises Got A Project: [Widening and strengthening work of MDR 253 km 15/0-33/500 road

The Public Works Department (PWD) – Chief Engineer & Additional Secretary (CE & AS), in coordination with ACE–Kota, SE–Kota, and EE–Ramganj Mandi, has invited a tender for the widening and strengthening of MDR-253 from Km 15/0 to 33/500, covering the stretch from Amjhar Khedli, Chechat, Madanpura, and Goynda up to the Madhya Pradesh border in Kota district. This project aims to improve cross-border and regional road connectivity.
The proposed road corridor plays a vital role in facilitating inter-state movement of passengers, agricultural produce, and commercial goods. Upgrading the existing road to improved standards will enhance load capacity, ensure smoother traffic flow, and significantly improve road safety. The project is also expected to reduce travel time and support economic activity in the surrounding rural and semi-urban areas.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 8th October 2025 by PWD – CE & AS under the administrative supervision of ACE–Kota, SE–Kota, and EE–Ramganj Mandi. After evaluation of bids, M/s Tirupati Enterprises emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the minimum project value. The tender process was conducted in a transparent manner in line with departmental norms.
The total project cost is Rs. 284,554,964.8, representing a significant investment in strengthening road infrastructure in Kota district. Once completed, the upgraded MDR-253 corridor will improve interstate connectivity with Madhya Pradesh and contribute to long-term regional development.
