M/s Ray Construction Got A Project:IRQP Work of Hatgamharia Benisagar via Balandia, Manjhgaon Road

The Road Construction Department (RCD), under the guidance of the Engineer-in-Chief (EinC) and Chief Engineer (CE) Comm, has floated a tender for an IRQP (Improvement of Riding Quality Programme) project. The work is focused on the Hatgamharia–Benisagar via Balandia–Manjhgaon Road, spanning a total length of 44.485 kilometers for the financial year 2024–25.
This IRQP initiative aims to enhance the riding quality, durability, and performance of the selected roadway. The stretch plays a crucial role in facilitating inter-district connectivity, linking remote areas with more developed regions, and improving daily commute and transportation of goods.
The financial bid for the tender was officially opened on 8th May 2025. The competitive bidding process attracted multiple contractors, underlining the importance and scale of this infrastructure project in the state’s rural development agenda.
Following the bid opening, M/s Ray Construction emerged as the lowest bidder, securing the opportunity to execute the proposed work. The total estimated value of the project stands at ₹32,73,96,236.60, marking a substantial investment in road improvement under the IRQP scheme.
This project signifies the government’s continued commitment to upgrading critical road networks and fostering seamless travel across Jharkhand’s rural and semi-urban areas.
