The Rajasthan State Road Development and Construction Corporation (RSRDCC), under the supervision of the General Manager (GM), has floated a significant infrastructure tender. The project focuses on the construction of the remaining work of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) in lieu of Level Crossing (LC) No. 265, located at Railway Km 301.024 on the Sikar–Jhunjhunu–Luharu Road. This strategic corridor is vital for easing traffic congestion and enhancing safety at the railway intersection.
The ROB is aimed at ensuring seamless and uninterrupted vehicular movement, particularly across a busy railway route, which has long been prone to bottlenecks and delays. The exclusion of cement costs from the tender implies a partial-scope contract with specific supply arrangements, which is common in public-private execution models for major works.
The financial bid for the project was officially opened on 20th May 2025, drawing strong interest from multiple infrastructure contractors. This reflects the growing emphasis on improving road and rail intersections in the region.
Upon bid evaluation, M/s Ramesh Kumar Bansal was identified as the lowest bidder, thereby qualifying for project execution. The total value of the project stands at ₹36,41,69,822.8, signifying a substantial public investment to enhance connectivity and commuter safety across the Sikar-Jhunjhunu belt.
