The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), through its P3 Delhi office in coordination with the Regional Office (RO) Patna and NH Division–Lakhisarai, invited a tender for Periodic Block Maintenance Contract (PBMC) work. The maintenance work is planned for National Highway-333, covering the stretch from km 115.000 to km 141.050. This project falls under MoRTH’s ongoing infrastructure enhancement efforts for the fiscal year 2024–25.
The PBMC aims to ensure improved durability and smooth traffic flow by addressing surface wear and tear, structural strengthening, and safety enhancements. The maintenance work includes repairing damaged road sections, restoring proper pavement layers, and upgrading associated road infrastructure to extend the lifespan of the highway.

The financial bid for this contract was officially opened on April 3, 2025. Among the competing bidders, M/S PC Gupta Co. emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder. The total estimated value of the PBMC project stands at ₹19,38,92,948, making it a key investment in Bihar’s highway network.
