The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), through its P7 Delhi office, has invited a significant tender for road infrastructure development in Andhra Pradesh. The initiative is part of ongoing national efforts to improve highway connectivity across key regions.
The tender has been issued in collaboration with the Regional Office (RO) Vijayawada and the NH Division-Vijayawada of MoRTH. This project is focused on the Hubli–Krishnapatnam Road, specifically on a realignment stretch under National Highway 67 (NH-67).
The scope of work involves the construction of a 4-lane road on a realigned stretch between Km 561.200 and Km 563.055, located near Peddasettipalli village. The project aims to enhance traffic flow, road safety, and regional transport efficiency.
This development will play a key role in strengthening freight and passenger connectivity between Andhra Pradesh’s inland and port-based economic zones, especially benefiting the Krishnapatnam Port corridor.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 11th June 2025. This crucial step determined the lowest bidder eligible for project execution under the prescribed technical and financial guidelines.
M/s. M C S R Constructions emerged as the lowest bidder for this project. The total estimated value for the work is ₹24,89,04,000.
