The Directorate General Border Roads Organisation (BRO), through HQ CE (Project) Deepak in Shimla, has floated a critical tender aimed at enhancing road infrastructure in the high-altitude terrain of Himachal Pradesh. This initiative is part of ongoing strategic connectivity efforts in border regions under Project Deepak.
The scope of the tender involves surfacing works, which include laying a two-layer Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) of 75 mm, Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM), and 40 mm Bituminous Concrete (BC).
