The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), through its P6 Delhi division in collaboration with the Regional Office (RO) Mumbai and NH Maharashtra PWD-Pen, has issued a key infrastructure tender for strengthening road connectivity in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. This initiative is part of MoRTH’s continued push to modernize and maintain national highways under the EPC model.
The tender specifically addresses the strengthening of National Highway 166A, covering the stretch from Vadkhal to Alibag. The road improvement work spans from Km 0.000 to Km 22.200. This section serves as a crucial link between major coastal towns, supporting local tourism, trade, and daily commuter traffic in Raigad district.
Executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode, the project involves design, execution, and quality control responsibility by the contractor, ensuring timely and durable delivery of work.
