The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), through the Chief Engineer (HQ) Mumbai Zone, Superintending Engineer Konkan Panvel and Dighi Port Project Division, has invited a tender for the Dighi Port Industrial Area – Dighi Port Based Industrial Area, involving the construction of a main internal road connecting to the Circular Over Lift on the Mumbai-Goa Road in the Industrial Area.
The proposed project focuses on developing the main internal road within the Dighi Port Based Industrial Area. The road will provide connectivity to the Circular Over Lift on the Mumbai-Goa Road, supporting access and transportation infrastructure for the industrial area and improving movement between the port-based development and the existing highway network.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 21st August 2026 by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation through the Chief Engineer (HQ) Mumbai Zone, Superintending Engineer Konkan Panvel and Dighi Port Project Division. J M Mhatre Infra Pvt Ltd quoted the minimum value for the project and emerged as the minimum-value bidder.
The total value of the project is Rs. 2,566,850,775, equivalent to approximately Rs. 256.69 crore. The development of the main internal road is expected to strengthen road connectivity within the Dighi Port Industrial Area and facilitate smoother transportation and access to the Mumbai-Goa Road.
