The Public Works Department (PWD) – Roads and Bridges, through the Bhopal CE Bridge Zone, has invited a tender for the construction of a Submersible Bridge including Approach Road across the Sheep River near Village Saroda to Kashipur in Sheopur district, Madhya Pradesh.
The proposed project involves the construction of a submersible bridge across the Sheep River along with an approach road connecting the area near Village Saroda to Kashipur. The infrastructure is intended to improve road connectivity and provide a reliable river crossing for vehicular movement in Sheopur district.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 11th August 2026 by the PWD – Roads and Bridges, Bhopal CE Bridge Zone. AK SHIVHARE INFRASTRUCTURE PVT LTD quoted the minimum value for the project and emerged as the minimum-value bidder.
The total value of the project is Rs. 270,960,443, equivalent to approximately Rs. 27.10 crore. The construction of the submersible bridge and approach road is expected to strengthen connectivity between the surrounding areas and facilitate smoother transportation across the Sheep River.
