Universal Infra Projects Got A Project: Strengthening of Chhuchhakwas – Matanhail – Bahu – Karoli (CMBK) Road from Km 0.00 to 37.978 in District Jhajjar.

The Haryana Board Corporation, through the Haryana State Roads and Bridges Development Corporation Ltd (HSRBDC) under the office of the Deputy General Manager (DGM), Rohtak, has invited a tender for the strengthening of the Chhuchhakwas–Matanhail–Bahu–Karoli (CMBK) Road from Km 0.00 to Km 37.978 in District Jhajjar, Haryana. The project is aimed at upgrading an important regional road corridor to improve connectivity and road safety.
The proposed strengthening work will enhance the structural capacity of the road, improve riding quality, and support increased traffic movement along this vital stretch. The CMBK Road serves as a key link between several towns and rural areas, facilitating the movement of commuters, agricultural produce, and commercial goods. Upgradation of this corridor is expected to reduce travel time, improve vehicular safety, and support economic development in the district.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 27th December 2025 by the Haryana State Roads and Bridges Development Corporation Ltd under the supervision of DGM Rohtak. After evaluation of the submitted bids, Universal Infra Projects emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the minimum value for execution of the work. The bidding process was carried out in accordance with prescribed procurement norms to ensure transparency and competitiveness.
The total project cost is Rs. 378,931,443.7, representing a substantial investment in strengthening Haryana’s road infrastructure. Upon completion, the project is expected to significantly improve regional connectivity, enhance transportation efficiency, and contribute to sustainable infrastructure development in District Jhajjar.
