The Public Works Region-Pune, through the Public Works Circle-Pune and Public Works (South) Division-Pune, has invited a tender for the improvement and widening of Malwadi-Harnus-Kambre-Male-Bhutonde-Balwad-Pasali-Singapore Road (MDR-43), from Km 0/00 to 15/00, in Bhor Taluka, Pune district, Maharashtra. The project is being undertaken for the Pune Grand Tour Challenge 2027.
The proposed project covers improvement and widening of the 15-km MDR-43 road section, along with seven other associated works. The works are intended to strengthen the road infrastructure and improve connectivity along the route, supporting transportation requirements in the Bhor area.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 25th August 2026 by the Public Works Region-Pune, Public Works Circle-Pune and Public Works (South) Division-Pune. V H KHATRI CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED quoted the minimum value for the project and emerged as the minimum-value bidder.
The total value of the project is Rs. 692,888,483.2, equivalent to approximately Rs. 69.29 crore. The improvement and widening works are expected to enhance road quality and connectivity in Bhor Taluka, particularly in preparation for the Pune Grand Tour Challenge 2027.
