The Public Works Region-Pune, through the Public Works Circle-Pune and Public Works (South) Division-Pune, has invited a tender for the improvement of Ambavane-Saltar-Bhambarde-Pipari-Vandre-Nive Road (MDR-24), from Km 21/000 to 28/500, in Mulshi Taluka, Pune district, Maharashtra. The specified section covers the Aherwadi to Nive stretch.
The proposed project covers improvement works along a 7.50-km stretch of MDR-24, along with two other associated works. The works are aimed at strengthening the existing road infrastructure and improving connectivity between Aherwadi, Nive and the surrounding areas of Mulshi Taluka.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 21st August 2026 by the Public Works Region-Pune, Public Works Circle-Pune and Public Works (South) Division-Pune. Nikhil Constructiongroup Private Limited quoted the minimum value for the project and emerged as the minimum-value bidder.
The total value of the project is Rs. 279,114,395.1, equivalent to approximately Rs. 27.91 crore. The proposed road improvement works are expected to strengthen local connectivity, improve transportation facilities and support smoother movement across the project area in Pune district.
