The Public Works Region-Pune, through the Public Works Circle-Solapur and Public Works Division-Pandharpur, has invited a tender for the improvement of Gheradi-Alegaon-Mudshingi-Chalisdhond-Laxmidahivadi-Gunjegaon-Tanali-Kasegaon Road (MDR-168) from Km 41/00 to 46/00 in Pandharpur Taluka, Solapur district, Maharashtra.
The proposed project covers a 5-km stretch of MDR-168 and focuses on improving the road condition and connectivity along the Gheradi to Kasegaon route. The work is expected to support smoother transportation and improve access between the villages and surrounding areas in Pandharpur Taluka.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 1st August 2026 by the Public Works Region-Pune, Public Works Circle-Solapur and Public Works Division-Pandharpur. S.D. DOUNDE INFRA PVT. LTD. quoted the minimum value for the project and emerged as the minimum-value bidder.
The total value of the project is Rs. 205,551,638.4, equivalent to approximately Rs. 20.56 crore. The improvement of this road section is expected to strengthen local road infrastructure and facilitate better connectivity across the Pandharpur area of Solapur district.
