The Border Roads Organisation (BRO), through HQ CE(P) Deepak (Shimla), invited a tender for improvement works with nallah treatment measures on the Malling Alternate Route at Km 10+500 under 108 RCC, 759 BRTF, in Kinnaur district, Himachal Pradesh.
The project focuses on improving the condition and resilience of the Malling Alternate Route. The scope includes road improvement works along with nallah treatment measures to manage water flow and protect the road infrastructure from drainage-related damage. Associated civil, protection and allied works are also included as part of the project.
According to the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 12 June 2026 by the Border Roads Organisation. Following evaluation of the bids, Pioneer Foundation Engineers Pvt. Ltd. emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 185,812,000. Once completed, the improvement and drainage treatment works are expected to strengthen the identified section of the alternate route and improve its reliability and safety, particularly against water-related deterioration.
