Doon Associates Got A Project: Renewal by B.C. and construction of footpath work on Old Delhi-Nitipass State Highway

The Public Works Department (PWD), through the SE PWD Circle Haridwar, invited a tender for the construction of connecting roads to the IMB fence along the Indo-Myanmar Border, covering a total length of 49 km from BP-159 to BP-162 in Longding and Tirap districts of Arunachal Pradesh. The project will be executed on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode basis.
The project focuses on improving road connectivity along the identified border stretch and providing access to the IMB fence. The scope includes construction of the connecting roads, pavement and allied civil works, drainage provisions, road safety measures and other associated infrastructure required for the development of the corridor.
According to the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 17 June 2026. Following evaluation of the bids, Doon Associates emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 213,889,134.3. Once completed, the 49-km road network is expected to improve connectivity and accessibility along the specified Indo-Myanmar border section in Longding and Tirap districts.
