The Public Works Region-Pune, through the Public Works Circle-Pune and Public Works (South) Division-Pune, has invited a tender for the improvement of Mahad-Madheghat-Velhe-Nasarapur-Cheladi Road (SH-106), from Km 13/200 to Km 26/200, in Velhe Taluka, Pune district, Maharashtra.
The proposed project covers improvement works along a 13-km stretch of SH-106, along with five other associated works. The works are aimed at strengthening the existing road infrastructure and improving connectivity along the Mahad-Madheghat-Velhe-Nasarapur-Cheladi corridor.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 21st August 2026 by the Public Works Region-Pune, Public Works Circle-Pune and Public Works (South) Division-Pune. Nikhil Constructiongroup Private Limited quoted the minimum value for the project and emerged as the minimum-value bidder.
The total value of the project is Rs. 559,957,465.6, equivalent to approximately Rs. 56.00 crore. The proposed improvement works are expected to strengthen road connectivity in Velhe Taluka and improve transportation along this important State Highway corridor in Pune district.
