PWD – CE AND AS, along with ACE Ajmer, SE Nagaur, and EE Parbatsar, has invited a crucial tender for the Widening and Strengthening of the Didwana–Marwar Baliya–Khunkhuna–Runwa–Badabara–Khatu Khurd road section. This project covers the MDR-299 stretch from km 0/0 to km 41/0, aiming to upgrade regional connectivity and improve transport efficiency across multiple key settlements.
The planned works include widening the existing roadway, strengthening the pavement layers, and enhancing overall road geometry to meet current traffic demands. This corridor plays an important role in supporting local trade, agricultural transport, and daily commuting, making the project essential for long-term development. The financial bid for this tender was opened on 15th September 2025 by PWD – CE AND AS, ACE Ajmer, SE Nagaur, and EE Parbatsar. Among all participating firms, M/S OM Construction Company emerged as the lowest bidder. The total project value has been estimated at Rs. 411,180,904.4 marking a major investment toward strengthening and modernizing MDR-299.
