M/s Jhanvi Construction Baran Got A Project: Widening and Double lane work of road from NH-27 Balachar to Niwari

PWD – CE AND AS, in coordination with ACE Kota, SE Baran, and EE Shahbad, invited a tender for the Widening and Double-Lane development of the road starting from NH-27 Balachar and passing through Niwari, Khatka, Ganeshpura, Semli Fhatak, Dhaturiya to Pahari, and Rajpur in Baran district. This project aims to upgrade an important rural–regional corridor to ensure safer and smoother mobility for residents and transport operators.
The work involves converting the existing stretch into a double-lane road, strengthening the pavement structure, improving geometric conditions, and developing necessary roadside safety features. The road serves several agricultural and semi-urban settlements, making it crucial for movement of goods, public transport, and essential services. With upgraded infrastructure, the route is expected to reduce travel delays and significantly enhance connectivity within Baran district.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 11th September 2025 by the concerned officials of PWD – CE AND AS, ACE Kota, SE Baran, and EE Shahbad. The evaluation was conducted as per departmental norms, ensuring transparency and fair competition among the contractors. The project received strong participation due to its scope and regional importance.
Among all the bidders, M/s Jhanvi Construction Baran submitted the lowest quoted value. The total estimated project cost is Rs. 363,846,460.5, marking a substantial investment aimed at improving regional road infrastructure and supporting long-term development in Baran district.
