The Haryana Government, through the Engineer-in-Chief PW(B&R) Department, SE Chandigarh and EE Jagadhri, invited a tender for the strengthening of Saharanpur–Kurukshetra Road (SH-06), ID 559, in Yamuna Nagar district. The project covers the road stretches from Km 37.18 to Km 50.195 and Km 52.255 to Km 55.00, with a combined length of approximately 15.76 km.
The strengthening work includes providing 115 mm DBM (Dense Bituminous Macadam) and 40 mm BC (Bituminous Concrete) along with geogrid. These pavement improvement works are intended to enhance the structural strength and riding quality of the existing highway and improve its durability under traffic loads.
According to the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 4 August 2026 by the Haryana Government’s Public Works (B&R) Department. Following evaluation of the bids, K K Boora Construction Co. quoted the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 273,020,897.6. The strengthening work is expected to improve pavement performance, riding quality and road safety along the identified sections of SH-06 in Yamuna Nagar district.
