The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), through its P5 Delhi / LWE division, in collaboration with the Regional Office (RO) Raipur and NH Chhattisgarh PWD-Raipur, has invited a crucial tender for road development in the LWE-affected areas of Chhattisgarh. This project is the second part of the ongoing upgradation of the Narayanpur–Kasturmeta–Kutul Road under National Highway 130D.
The tender focuses on the construction and upgradation of a 10.270 km stretch from Km 80.720 to Km 90.990. As part of the broader strategic infrastructure plan, this road segment is essential for enhancing access to interior tribal regions and fostering safer, faster transportation in the Bastar zone.
The scope of work includes converting the existing road into a two-lane to four-lane configuration with paved shoulders. Once completed, this improvement will ensure better mobility, economic opportunities, and crucial administrative reach in remote forest areas.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 10th June 2025. M/s Ganesh Prasad Khetan once again emerged as the lowest bidder for this segment. The estimated project value is ₹688283195.
This project further emphasizes MoRTH’s continued focus on strengthening infrastructure in Left Wing Extremism-impacted districts.
