The Public Works Roads Department has invited a tender for the construction of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Bridge No. 506, located at Railway Km-352/7-8. This bridge will be built on the road connecting NH-31 to Vidyanuragi Biswanath Sarma Path at Ghagrapar in Nalbari district, Assam. The project is being undertaken under the State-Owned Priority Development (SOPD) initiative, which aims to strengthen core infrastructure across the state.
This ROB project is intended to replace a railway level crossing, thereby easing traffic flow and ensuring safety for daily commuters.
