The Haryana Government through the Engineer-in-Chief PW(B and R) Department has initiated a crucial tender aimed at strengthening the Karnal Kaithal Road (Road ID 7264) (SH-08) in Karnal district. The project covers the stretch from Km 17.100 to Km 42.000 in the Nilokheri Constituency. This road is an important route for local and regional transportation, and its upgradation is expected to significantly improve traffic flow and road safety.
Supervised by SE Karnal and EE PD-1 Karnal, the project involves laying 50mm Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM), 40mm Bituminous Concrete (BC), and installing 80mm interlocking paver blocks. These measures will enhance the durability, load-bearing strength, and overall riding quality of the road, ensuring smooth movement of heavy and light vehicles alike.

The project has been valued at ₹29,21,85,096, marking it as a major infrastructure development plan in the district, reflecting the government’s vision for modern road networks.
