The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), through its P5 Delhi/LWE division in collaboration with the Regional Office Raipur and NH Chhattisgarh PWD-Raipur, has invited a tender for the construction of a key bypass project in Chhattisgarh. This initiative is aimed at improving regional connectivity and reducing traffic congestion in urban areas.
The project involves the construction of the Bemetara Bypass section from Km 290.474 to Km 295.180 of National Highway 30 (formerly NH-12A). The scope of work includes widening the route to a four-lane configuration with paved shoulders, as well as the development of service lanes. The project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
The financial bid for this tender was opened on February 14, 2025. Following a comprehensive evaluation process, Alok Buildtech Private Limited emerged as the lowest bidder. The company met all the necessary qualifications in terms of both technical capabilities and financial competitiveness.
The total estimated cost of the project is approximately ₹95 crores(950000000). Upon award, the bypass construction is expected to commence soon, enhancing traffic flow and providing safer, faster travel around Bemetara.
