The Public Works Region-Pune, through the Public Works Circle-Solapur and Public Works Division-Pandharpur, has invited a tender for the construction of a major submersible bridge across the Bhima River on Anawali-Mundhewadi-Ajansond Road (MDR-113) at Km 7/000, Taluka Pandharpur, Solapur district, Maharashtra.
The proposed project involves the construction of a major submersible bridge across the Bhima River along the MDR-113 corridor. The bridge will improve connectivity along the Anawali-Mundhewadi-Ajansond Road and provide an important river crossing for transportation between Pandharpur and the surrounding areas.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 1st September 2026 by the Public Works Region-Pune, Public Works Circle-Solapur and Public Works Division-Pandharpur. VSP INFRASTRUCTURES quoted the minimum value for the project and emerged as the minimum-value bidder.
The total value of the project is Rs. 267,100,000, equivalent to approximately Rs. 26.71 crore. The construction of the major submersible bridge is expected to strengthen the local road network and improve connectivity across the Bhima River, benefiting transportation in and around Pandharpur Taluka.
