TTK Construction Got A project: Infrastructure Development for Additional Custom Notified Area including Road

The V.O. Chidambaranar Port Trust, through its Civil Department – Administration Office, has invited a tender for the infrastructure development of an additional Custom Notified Area, including road connectivity to the Green Hydrogen Plant and the Stackyard of North Cargo Berth II and III within the VOC Port. This project aims to improve port infrastructure and facilitate seamless cargo movement and operational efficiency.
The proposed development focuses on enhancing internal road networks, improving access to the Green Hydrogen Plant, and connecting critical stackyard areas. By strengthening transportation links within the port, the project will support efficient cargo handling, reduce turnaround time for vessels, and provide better logistical support for industrial and renewable energy operations. The project reflects VOC Port’s commitment to modernizing port facilities and supporting sustainable industrial growth.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 27th October 2025 by the Civil Department – Administration Office of VOC Port Trust. After evaluation of bids, TTK Construction emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the minimum value for execution of the project. The tender process was conducted in accordance with established procurement norms to ensure transparency and competitiveness.
The total project cost is Rs. 477,664,983.7, representing a significant investment in port infrastructure. Upon completion, the project is expected to enhance road connectivity, improve operational efficiency at North Cargo Berths II and III, and support industrial and renewable energy initiatives within the VOC Port Trust area.
