The Chief Engineer of Jhansi Zone, PWD Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, in collaboration with the Jhansi Circle, PWD Jhansi, has issued a tender for a major infrastructure upgrade in the Orai district. The project focuses on the widening and strengthening of the Ait–Kotra Road, classified as an Other District Road (ODR), with a total length of 14.04 kilometers.

The financial bid for the project was officially opened on 14th February 2025 by the designated PWD authorities.
