The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd (CIDCO), through its Engineering Department, has floated a major tender for the integrated infrastructure development under the NAINA (Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area) Project. The project focuses on the development of 20-meter and above wide roads along with the construction of key structures including flyovers, minor bridges, Vehicular Underpasses (VUPs), Pedestrian Underpasses (PUPs), and allied electrical works such as modern street lighting.
This large-scale infrastructure initiative will cover Town Planning Schemes (TPS) 8, 9, and 12, which are critical zones identified for urban growth in the vicinity of Navi Mumbai. The project aims to create an efficient and safe road network, enhance regional connectivity, and support planned urbanization linked to the upcoming airport and surrounding industrial zones.
