The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), in collaboration with its P4 Delhi, RO Jaipur, has invited a tender for the construction of flyovers and underpasses on the Ajmer-Nagaur section of National Highway 89 (New NH-58). The project aims to enhance traffic flow and road safety by developing critical junctions and flyovers at key locations.
The proposed construction includes (i) a flyover at Tehla at Km 38/240, (ii) a flyover at Kuchera Bypass at Km 116/450, and (iii) the development of junctions along the Ajmer-Nagaur stretch from Km 0/000 to Km 148/250. This significant development will improve connectivity and reduce congestion, benefiting local traffic and long-distance commuters.
The financial bid for the project was opened on February 3, 2025, and following evaluation, STS Infracon Pvt. Ltd. submitted the lowest bid. They are now poised to take on the responsibility of executing the project under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode.
The estimated value of this project stands at ₹532.49 crore(532486764). This infrastructure enhancement is part of MoRTH’s efforts to improve roadways and reduce bottlenecks, supporting efficient transport and economic development across Rajasthan.
