SINGLA CONSTRUCTIONS LIMITED Got A Project: Construction of Vehicular Overpass (VOP)/Bridge/Flyover from Convent Road

The Public Works Department (PWD), through the Chief Engineer Central Kashmir, Srinagar South Circle and Project Division-I Srinagar, has invited a tender for the construction of a Vehicular Overpass (VOP)/Bridge/Flyover from Convent Road (Joggers Park) to M.A. Link Road via Shirwani Road over River Jhelum in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
The proposed project involves the development of a major elevated road connectivity structure across the River Jhelum. The VOP/bridge/flyover is planned to connect Convent Road near Joggers Park with M.A. Link Road through Shirwani Road, providing an important transportation link across the river and improving connectivity between the adjoining areas.
The financial bid for the project was opened in 2026 by the PWD, Chief Engineer Central Kashmir, Srinagar South Circle and Project Division-I Srinagar. SINGLA CONSTRUCTIONS LIMITED emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for the project.
The total value of the project is Rs. 894,660,000, equivalent to approximately Rs. 89.47 crore. The construction of this VOP/bridge/flyover is expected to strengthen road connectivity in Srinagar and provide an additional crossing over the River Jhelum, supporting smoother vehicular movement in the area.
