Shri Krishna and Company Got A Project: Construction of Submersible Bridge Including Approach Road Across Kunwari River on Itaura-Sujarma Road

The Public Works Department Madhya Pradesh under the Bhopal CE Bridge Zone PWD invited a tender for the Kunwari River Submersible Bridge Project. The project involves the construction of a submersible bridge across the Kunwari River on the Itaura–Sujarma Road in Morena district, including the development of approach roads.
The scope of work includes construction of the submersible bridge, approach road development, river protection measures, drainage arrangements, and other allied civil works. The project is designed to improve connectivity between surrounding villages, facilitate smoother transportation, and provide reliable road access across the Kunwari River.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 14 March 2026 by the PWD authorities under the Bhopal Bridge Zone. After evaluation of bids submitted by participating contractors, Shri Krishna and Company emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 199,709,932.5, representing a significant investment in bridge infrastructure development. Upon completion, the bridge will improve regional connectivity, reduce travel disruptions during normal conditions, and support the socio-economic development of Morena district.
