Shri Rjendra kumar Got a Project: Widening and Strengthening Road in Rajasthan.
Sanjay Kumar Singh Got A Project:Performance Based Maintenance Contract (PBMC) to NH-61(New NH-2)

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), under NER and SARDP-NE, through its Regional Office Guwahati and the National Highway Division of Assam PWD, invited a tender for a Performance Based Maintenance Contract (PBMC). The project covers the stretch of NH-61 (new NH-2) from Km 240.000 at the Assam–Nagaland border to Km 257.469 at Jhanji Tiniali. The total road length under this contract is 17.469 km.
The PBMC model ensures not only initial improvement but also long-term upkeep of the highway. This includes periodic maintenance, safety enhancements, and ensuring quality riding conditions over the contractual period. Such contracts are increasingly being adopted to ensure accountability, reduce maintenance costs, and extend the road’s lifecycle.
The tender’s financial bid was officially opened on 25th July 2025 by the concerned MoRTH and Assam PWD authorities. The competitive bidding process invited qualified contractors to execute the work in line with national specifications and required service levels.
M/s Sanjay Kumar Singh emerged as the lowest bidder, offering the most competitive value for this project. This outcome reflects a balance of cost efficiency and capability for managing highway maintenance works in the North Eastern region.
The total project value stands at ₹22,39,63,529.4, representing a major step toward strengthening cross-border connectivity and ensuring smoother transport flow between Assam and Nagaland.
