The Chief Engineer, Aligarh Zone PWD, in collaboration with the Superintending Engineer, Aligarh Circle, and the Construction Division – 1 PWD Aligarh, issued a tender for the widening and strengthening of the Gopi–Bhilawali Road (O.D.R.). This road improvement project is aimed at enhancing rural infrastructure, improving traffic movement, and ensuring a longer lifespan of the roadway under heavy usage.
The project will boost regional development by connecting interior areas with main road networks, reducing travel time and transportation costs for local commuters and transporters. Once completed, the upgraded road will serve as a critical link supporting local economic activities and overall mobility.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 17th March 2025. The tender process attracted participation from multiple construction firms, all aiming to secure the contract for this key infrastructure initiative in Aligarh district.
