The New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) has invited a tender for critical drainage infrastructure work under its maintenance and upgradation initiative. The project entails the construction of an RCC open drain in place of the existing damaged brick drain, located along the 45.00-meter wide road (right-hand side) from Sector-142 Metro Station near Advant to Metro Pillar No. 469 in front of Sector-144, Noida.
This drainage upgrade is essential to ensure proper water flow and prevent flooding, especially during heavy rainfall. Replacing the deteriorating brickwork with a reinforced concrete structure will significantly enhance the durability and effectiveness of the drainage system in this high-traffic corridor.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 21st March 2025, with several firms participating in the competitive bidding process. The tender was reviewed and processed by the NOIDA Authority, focusing on both quality standards and cost efficiency.
S R Constructions quoted the lowest bid, making them the front-runner for the project. The estimated project cost stands at approximately ₹22.41 crore (₹224,183,504.7), reflecting a significant step toward sustainable urban infrastructure development in Noida.
