S.K. Sharma Contractor and Engineer Got A Project: Improvement of source augmentation of various WSS of Gram Panchayat Shivnath Khabli Thatlehar Muhal Jalandhar Lahar Thakurdwara Rajol Dhawala from river Beas

The HP Irrigation and Public Health Department through the Hamirpur Circle Irrigation and Public Health and Dehra Division Irrigation and Public Health invited a tender for the Improvement and source augmentation of various Water Supply Schemes (WSS) in several Gram Panchayats. The project will cover Shivnath, Khabli, Thatlehar, Muhal Jalandhar, Lahar, Thakurdwara, Rajol, and Dhawala located in Dehra, under Kangra District. The scheme aims to enhance water availability by utilizing water from the Beas River.
This project focuses on strengthening the drinking water infrastructure in rural areas by improving the existing water supply schemes and augmenting water sources. The upgraded system will help ensure a reliable and sustainable water supply for residents of the concerned Gram Panchayats. The project will include necessary civil works, pipeline installation, and related infrastructure required to draw and distribute water effectively from the Beas River.
According to the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 4 February 2026 by the HP Irrigation and Public Health Department through its Hamirpur Circle and Dehra Division. Several contractors participated in the bidding process, and after evaluation of the financial proposals, S.K. Sharma Contractor and Engineer emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for the execution of the project.
The total project cost is Rs. 282,790,927, reflecting a significant investment toward improving rural water supply infrastructure in Kangra district. Once completed, the project is expected to enhance access to safe drinking water, support public health, and improve the quality of life for residents of the targeted villages in Tehsil Dehra.
