The Rajasthan State Road Development & Construction Corporation (RSRDCC), under the General Manager (GM), has invited a significant infrastructure tender to bolster regional connectivity. The project focuses on constructing a High-Level Bridge over the Chappi River, an essential link on State Highway 119.
Strategically located at the 8th kilometer of SH-119, the bridge will connect to NH-52 at Km. 403/502. This vital stretch links Unhel with several rural and semi-urban settlements, including Bhalta, Ratlai, Karal Gaon, Bhumara, Mundla, Karodiya, and Sunel. The new bridge aims to ensure seamless year-round connectivity and mitigate flood-related disruptions during monsoons.
The financial bid for the tender was officially opened on June 9, 2025. The bidding process attracted interest from several infrastructure firms, highlighting the project’s regional importance and technical demands. Among all bidders, the lowest bid was quoted by Rajiv Mishra Contractor.
This high-value project is expected to bring socio-economic benefits to the region by improving transportation efficiency, reducing travel time, and enhancing access to markets, healthcare, and education facilities for the surrounding rural population.
The total project value has been estimated at ₹24,11,48,762.4, marking a considerable investment in rural infrastructure under Rajasthan’s ongoing road and bridge development initiatives.
