The Public Works Department (PWD) – Roads and Bridges, through the Bhopal CE Bridge Zone, has invited a tender for the construction of a Submersible Bridge including Approach Road across the Narmada River on Hirapur-Sankal Road in Narsinghpur district, Madhya Pradesh, under EPC mode.
The proposed project involves the construction of a submersible bridge across the Narmada River along with the required approach road. The infrastructure is planned to improve connectivity along Hirapur-Sankal Road and provide an important river crossing for vehicular movement in the district.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 18th August 2026 by the PWD – Roads and Bridges, Bhopal CE Bridge Zone. RAJESH SHARMA INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPERS PRIVATE LIMITED quoted the minimum value for the project and emerged as the minimum-value bidder.
The total value of the project is Rs. 282,100,000, equivalent to approximately Rs. 28.21 crore. The construction of the submersible bridge and approach road is expected to strengthen connectivity in Narsinghpur district and facilitate smoother transportation across the Narmada River.
