The Public Works Department Madhya Pradesh under the Jabalpur CE Central Zone PWD invited a tender for the Katangi Lalbarra Road Construction Project. The project involves the construction of Katangi–Lalbarra Road with a total length of 40.00 km, including cement concrete (CC) road work and electrification work under Sub-Division Waraseoni.
The scope of work includes construction of a durable CC road pavement, improvement of road infrastructure, electrification facilities, and other allied civil works. The project is aimed at enhancing road connectivity, improving transportation efficiency, and providing better infrastructure facilities for residents and commuters in the region.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 10 April 2026 by the PWD authorities under the Jabalpur Central Zone. After evaluation of bids submitted by participating contractors, Raisingh and Company emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 850,774,783.5, reflecting a significant investment in road and public infrastructure development. Upon completion, the Katangi–Lalbarra road will improve regional connectivity, reduce travel difficulties, and support economic growth in the area.
